This 2-day workshop will bring together experts in technical, business and workforce domains to evaluate the feasibility of developing and commercializing novel manufacturing processes and methods capable of producing large metallic near net shape components. The focus will be on infrastructure scale castings and forgings with supporting materials from convergence on business and technical needs, clean energy manufacturing needs and Manufacturing Supply Chain. The workshop will include plenary presentations, panel sessions, and breakout focus groups. A pre-read and agenda will be sent out to those that register for the event.
